Problem
Shree Ram Roadlines moves goods by road across the region. Each consignment needed a set of documents, and every one was prepared by hand. The same names, addresses and goods details were typed into several forms, then checked for mistakes. One consignment took about 45 minutes of a staff member’s time.
What we built
We sat with the team and followed a consignment from booking to dispatch. Then we built a web tool around that flow. Staff enter the details once. The tool fills in every document, formats it the way the company and its customers expect, and makes it ready to print or send.
Result
The same documentation now takes about 2 minutes. The details are entered once, so the copying mistakes that used to slip through are gone at the source.
What changed day to day
The office staff stopped spending their day retyping forms. They now spend that time on customers and on the shipments themselves.
